Can I become a member of the Alberta Land Surveyors Association even though I am not an Alberta Land Surveyor and not in school?
In 1996, the Association created a new membership category. Associate members are land surveyors from other jurisdictions, ASSMT members, members of an ALSA recognized geomatics professional organization, degree or diploma holders from a recognized university or technical school, teachers at a recognized university or technical school. Associate members stay up-to-date on all the professional, technical and association issues. They are eligible to be members of Association committees and vote on various matters at annual meetings.
