The Alberta Land Surveyors' Association is committed to financially recognizing students who wish to pursue careers in surveying. Scholarships are available from both the Association and the J.H. Holloway Scholarship Foundation.
ALSA Academic Achievement
$2,000 to a student entering third year in cadastral studies based on academic achievement. The successful candidate is selected by the University of Calgary. (from Alberta Land Surveyors' Association)
John Deyholos Memorial Scholarship
$3,000 annual scholarship to a continuing undergraduate student in the Department of Geomatics Engineering at the University of Calgary. The award is based on grades earned in ENGO 455: Cadastral Surveys and Land Registration Systems (minimum B+ grade required) and a minimum grade point average of 3.00. University of Calgary Scholarship

NAIT Transfer Student
$1,250 annual scholarship to a NAIT graduate in Geomatics Engineering Technology enrolled in the University of Calgary program in Geomatics Engineering. This award is based on academic merit in the technical school program and will be awarded to subsequent to acceptance into the program. Applications, together with official transcripts from NAIT, must be submitted to the J.H.
