We are thrilled to announce the official launch of the Alberta Geomatics Historical Society (AGHS) website on September 1, 2024! This marks a significant milestone for our Society, as the new website marks a new chapter in our journey to preserve and celebrate the history of land surveying in Alberta.

The website features a wealth of resources, including historical archives, digital collections of photographs, oral history interviews, and documents detailing the evolution of land surveying in Alberta. These features will be regularly updated and expanded as more information becomes available. Visitors can explore stories of early surveyors, view artifacts from our collection, and learn about the technological advancements that have shaped the profession over the years.

Additionally, the website will provide updates on upcoming events, educational programs, and volunteer opportunities. It will also serve as the primary platform for our membership drive.
