Kingsley Obi received his commission, #1073, on September 12, 2024.
 
He is a member of the Surveyors Council of Nigeria (SURCON).
 
Kingsley graduated from the University of Lagos, Akoka, Nigeria with a bachelor’s degree in Surveying & Geoinformatics Engineering. He immigrated to Canada in 2015. Just after receiving his commission as a registered surveyor in Nigeria, he started with Measurement Sciences Inc. in the summer of 2016 as a survey assistant. In January 2017, he joined Tronnes Geomatics as a party chief-in-training doing construction and municipal surveys while completing his four CBEPS exams. He started his articles with Aziz Dharamshi, ALS in July 2019 and transferred to Tyler Robinson, ALS to gain office experience in August 2022.
 
He enjoys practicing Shotokan karate, spending time with family and friends, talking to families about saving for their future, travelling and meeting new people.
