Brett Elder received his commission, #1074, on January 2, 2025.
 
He is a Red River College graduate and articled under Nathan Prins, ALS.
 
He has twenty years of industry experience with field time focusing on municipal boundary surveys and terrestrial/mobile scanning and office time providing field direction and boundary calculations.
 
His prior experience includes:

• Survey QC supervisor at Calgary’s new Central Library project from breaking ground to completion.
• Survey project manager facilitating completion of Harvest Energy’s Black Gold SAGD processing plant, breaking ground to startup.
• SNC Lavalin’s Western Alberta Transmission Line (WATL) project erecting tower sites from Calgary to Red Deer.
• Party chief positions out of Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta and Winnipeg, Manitoba.

 
He enjoys spending time with family and friends in the great outdoors - camping, hiking, golf, rock climbing, slo-pitch, snowboarding, fitness, and anything to stay active.
