As new subdivisions may only affect surface rights, upon creation of the subdivided titles, the mineral interests will remain under the original plan. This is common when dealing with City lots that are being subdivided to accommodate a duplex for example.

Order a Certified copy of remaining mineral Land Title(s):

1. Visit the SPIN2 website at www.spin.gov.ab.ca or;
2. Visit any Motor Vehicle Registry Office or AMA near you to order a Certified Copy of your Land Title.
