The
Alberta Registries for Land Online (ARLO) platform is a key part of the Government of Alberta’s commitment to modernizing land titles services. Led by the
Registries Modernization Branch within the
Ministry of Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction (SARTR), ARLO is designed to improve access, streamline processes, and support Alberta’s growing real estate and land management needs.
Launched in
October 2024, ARLO introduced a new era of digital service delivery for land titles—offering 24/7 access to title searches, simplified client service interactions, and digital volume data applications. Since then, we’ve continued to build on this foundation with regular updates that reflect user feedback and evolving needs.
With the latest enhancements launching on
May 29th, 2025, with Release 3, ARLO takes a significant step forward in spatial functionality. The introduction of
interactive mapping tools is especially relevant for ALSA members, offering a more intuitive and visual way to explore land title data. These tools lay the groundwork for future enhancements that will continue to improve how land information is accessed, interpreted, and used across Alberta.
