David Meier received his commission, #1077, on November 24, 2025.
 
He is an NSCC and BCIT graduate and articled under Alberta Land Surveyors Norman Chan and Jeffrey Wade.
 
David began his surveying career in Saskatchewan with Focus, where he primarily worked on oil & gas projects. In 2018, he returned to school to further his education. Upon graduating in 2020, he relocated to Calgary where he continued his survey career with WSP and later with GeoVerra, with his work transitioning toward municipal surveying.
 
He enjoys guitar, traveling, hiking, camping, running and music.
