ASSMT Presents the Getting It Right Seminar - March 19th - Calgary

The Getting It Right (GIR) Seminar was created by the Alberta Land Surveyors’ Association more than twenty years ago and building upon this legacy with help from the members of the ALSA, the material has been reviewed and updated to reflect the most current requirements.

The GIR seminar spends a full-day establishing an understanding of the importance of the survey profession and the impacts when mistakes are made. The seminar delves into the different phases of a survey project from the initial contact by a client to the setup of a project, research, communicating requirements to the team, conducting the field survey and preparing the resulting survey plan. The work that the land surveying profession does leaves a legacy for centuries. GIR is designed to encourage its participants to be part of a land surveying team that will leave a quality legacy.
