Associate Members

You can still become a member of the Alberta Land Surveyors' Association even though you are not an Alberta Land Surveyor and not a student.

In 1996, the Association created a new membership category. Associate members are ASSMT members, members of an ALSA recognized geomatics professional organization, degree or diploma holders from a recognized university or technical school, teachers at a recognized university or technical school. They are survey technologists and people with an interest in land surveying and geomatics.

Associate members stay up-to-date on all the professional, technical and association issues. They are eligible to be members of Association committees and vote on various matters at annual meetings. They receive all Association correspondence.

Associate members must be nominated by two Alberta Land Surveyors.

Please click here to apply to Council to become an associate member.

The application will be reviewed by the Council of the Alberta Land Surveyors’ Association at the meeting following a completed application being received.

Annual fees are $100 plus GST and are due by April 30th each year. An invoice will be emailed no later than March 15th.
