Reinstatement as an Alberta Land Surveyor

A retired member may apply to the Registration Committee to be reinstated as an Alberta Land Surveyor.
 

Reinstatement Requirements

If a retired member would like to be reinstated, here are the requirements:
  1. If you have been retired for less than three years, you are required to be interviewed by the Registration Committee;
  2. If you have been retired for three to seven years, you are required to be interviewed by the Registration Committee and pass the oral qualifying exam;
  3. If you have been retired for more than seven years, you are required to be interviewed by the Registration Committee, pass the PPLS1 and PPLS2 examinations and pass the oral qualifying exam;
  4. The application form be approved for all categories.

  • Interview required by the Registration Committee

  • Oral qualifying exam.

  • Interview required by the Registration Committee

  • PPLS1 & PPLS2 (as regularly scheduled)

  • Oral qualifying exam.
